Sandy Childress
I am one of the two ALE teachers here at Corbett.
I started my career in education in 2008 as a paraprofessional at Pachal Elementary. I transferred to Wiederstein Elementary and worked there until I obtained my degree. I worked as a 2014-2015-kindergarten teacher, 2015--special education teacher, and an 2015--present--ALE teacher (in the middle school setting).
I have a Bachelors of Interdisplinary Studies with a minor in reading and special education from the University of the Incarnate Word. I obtain my Master's of Education in 2015 from the University of the Incarnate Word. I am currently working on a Doctorate of Education with a specialization in Special Education from NorthCentral University.
