Degrees and Certifications:
Ms. Bridget Dooley
I am so excited to be your 5th grade ELAR teacher this year! I am a graduate of Steele High School and spent my entire childhood in SCUCISD. I earned my degree at Texas State University - Eat 'em up Cats! When I'm not teaching I love to read, be with my family and spend time with my dog, Rogue.
All of my students have accessed Google Classroom already this year and should be able to just clink the appropriate class with their login. If you have not set up Google Classroom below are the codes to join:
Homeroom - m6s4ncn
Lyssy - wdmbrsp
User name: Your last name + the first two letters of your first name + the last three numbers of your ID (lunch) number @scuc.txed.net
Password: First two letters of your first name and your whole ID (lunch) number including the zero

How to add an app to Classlink - like ZOOM the video conferencing platform students will use:
I will be available for tutoring as follows:
Monday: 9 -10:30 a.m. and 3 - 4 p.m.
Tuesday: 3 - 4 p.m.
Wednesday: 3 - 4 p.m.
Thursday: 9 -10:30 a.m. and 3 - 4 p.m.
Friday: 9 -10:30 a.m. and 3 - 4 p.m.
I will set up a Zoom video conference during these times. The meeting code will be posted in my google classroom. I will also be available by phone...parents have the number and can share it with my students. Do not feel like you need to log in each time. This is primarily for me to help you with any assignments you may be struggling with.

I truly believe this is an important book for students to read. I incorporate this text a lot in my classroom and we have a "Precept of the Week" where we discuss and write about precepts that relate to kindness. Great story for 5th graders!
