Hello! My name is Mrs. Houy  and I will be your child’s 3rd grade teacher.  I’ve lived near Austin for most of my adult life.  We only moved to Schertz/Cibolo in 2019.  I have a bachelor's degree in Family and Child Development and a Masters in Education both from Texas State University (formally SWT).

My husband and I have 3 children.  Our oldest boy  is a 5th grader at Jordan Intermediate, our middle child is a 3rd grader at Rose Garden, and our little girl is in Kindergarten at Rose Garden.  We just recently purchased a home near Rose Garden and are excited about getting to know this community.

This is my 19th year of teaching and my 2nd year with SCUC ISD.  My teaching  experience includes 4th and 5th grades all subjects.  This will be my first year in 3rd grade.  My husband is a teacher at Samuel Clemens High School.
