Message from the teacher:
I look forward to teaching computer literacy skills and keyboarding, as well as using technology project based learning for the 2020-2021 school year. I believe these are valuable skills that will be used throughout the rest of your education, career, and life. This is my 6th year teaching computer literacy, and 10th in an education environment. It is best to contact me via email at email@example.com.
This is a hands-on class where together we discover new ways to use computers as tools for learning while incorporating interdisciplinary learning such as writing, science, and reading. In addition to learning keyboarding skills, we connect computer applications to real-life problems and life-long learning tools. Students can expect to use a variety of software programs, including Google Docs, Google Slide, and Google Sheets, just to name a few, as well as simulation software as we navigate through the class projects and learning objectives. The emphasis in the course is on the development of speed, accuracy, and using technology resources to create projects and assignments. Students are expected to utilize technology resources to create projects and assignments. Students are expected to proofread and revise documents. Students will also learn to use Student Portals.
