    Welcome to Choir!!!  I'm so glad you are in my class this year!  Below, you will find the Google Classroom codes for all of my classes.  Please use your schedule to figure out which class you will be in.  Parents are encouraged to join the class as well in order to see assignments, the work turned in, and the posted grades.   Everyone, please sign up as soon as possible.

     

    5th Grade

    5th grade rotates to all Fine Arts - Art, Band, Choir, and Orchestra

    Use this chart to find which of these classes you will start in on Thursday.  I am only telling you the M-R classroom codes because students whose last name begins with M-R will start in Choir.

    A-E is Art first.

    F-L is Band first.

    M-R is Choir first.

    S-Z is Orchestra first.

Beth Newsom is a graduate of Southwest Texas State University where she received her Bachelors degree in Vocal Music Educatiion.  She has taught music and directed choirs for over 20 years. During that time the choirs have performed and excelled at numerous concerts, contests, and community performances.  Mrs. Newsom enjoys helping her students succeed and instilling in them a love for music and learning in addition to helping them learn how to live meaningful, fulfilled lives.
