Welcome to 4th grade!

I am Ms. Hurt and will be teaching Reading, Language Arts, Writing, and Social Studies this year. My co-teacher is Mrs. Abbott. Students should be writing their assignments and important  information in their planners every day.  Adequate time is given daily to complete this. 

I make every effort to return phone calls or respond to notes or e-mails within 24 hours (Monday through Friday).  Please keep in mind that there are times when I may be out due to professional training, family illness, personal illness, etc., and will respond as soon as I return to school.  If you call or e-mail after school hours (3:30 pm), I may not be aware of it until the next day.
