Welcome Fourth Grade Families!
Thank you for taking the time to visit our class web page. Please refer back to it throughout the year for assignments and classroom news.
I am looking forward to working with you this year as we build a community together. Communication is a vital part of the relationship between home and school. In addition to the website, Mrs. Pevoto and I will be communicating through Class Dojo to keep you informed of upcoming events and classroom procedures.
This school year is going to be my 14th year of teaching. I was a fifth grade teacher for five years in the Judson School district. After teaching fifth grade, I decided to stay home to raise my three boys. I always new that I would come back to teaching and I wanted SCUCISD to be my next assignment. The reason for this is because I attended school in SCUCISD from first grade through 12th grade. One of my favorite stories to share is that two of my boys were taught by my second grade teacher, Mrs. Sharon Atzger. Also, I had the pleasure of marrying my High School sweetheart. I am truly blessed to have been a graduate of our wonderful school district and I will always be grateful that I have been given the opportunity to give back to the community that played a vital role in who I am today. I am also very fortunate to work with my teaching partner, Mrs. Lori Pevoto. Mrs. Pevoto will be teaching Language Arts and Social Studies, and I will be teaching Math and Science. We are both very dedicated and passionate about what we do and will strive to meet the needs of all of your children.
I know that this year will be filled with many wonderful adventures and memories. I am excited to get the opportunity to spend my days with your precious children. We will be working hard to build leaders and to enjoy Math and Science. Every one of the children are a unique piece of our classroom puzzle. Together we will become a family.
See you at Green Valley!
Our class will have a Zoom check-in on the first day of school, August 13th, at 10:40 a.m. Be sure to check our Class Dojo Story to find the Meeting ID and password.
