The Department of Special Education provides high quality, individualized services for students, staff, parents and the community through accurate assessment, identification and specialized support to promote academic and life-long success. 

The Department of Special Education is located at the Dolford Professional Learning Center (200 W. Schlather Road, Cibolo, TX  78108).

What is SPEDTex? SPEDTex is committed to providing information and resources to assist Texas families in understanding their child's disability, their rights, and responsibilities under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). SPEDTex is the Special Education Information Center for Texas educators and families.
