Classroom Expectations
Corbett teachers expect all students to perform at a rigorous academic level. This expectation should be reflected in curriculum and instruction throughout the school such that all students are consistently being challenged to expand their knowledge and skills to the next level. We believe that the junior high school years are a time to help all students acquire the knowledge, concepts, and skills needed to engage in a higher level of learning.
BE RESPECTFUL! Be respectful to one another. We expect nothing less than for each individual in the classroom to be addressed or answered in an appropriate tone with the use of appropriate language.
BE RESPONSIBLE! Bring the necessary materials to class. If you are absent, it is your responsibility to arrange to make up missing work. We will not chase after you and nag for assignments.
BE READY! This means you are in the classroom before the tardy bell and ready to learn. Excessive tardiness will be handled by the Vice Principal. Attend to your personal needs on your personal time.
