    PARENTS OF 6TH GRADE STUDENTS

    Per Texas state law, ALL student going into the 7th grade will need the following immunizations (or a  conscientious exemption form) in order to start their 7th grade year on time:

    REQUIRED:

    Meningococcal (MCV)

    TDAP - booster

    RECOMMENDED, NOT REQUIRED:

    HPV 

    *Your student may have already received these immunizations. If so, please send in a copy of the shot record to the school nurse via email vmoreno@scuc.txed.net or the student may drop off to the nurse in person. 

    The shot record will then be update in TxConnect. Please do not upload shot records to Tx.Connect, this will not reflect compliance for your student. 

     The School Based Clinic, located in Schertz, will be holding a “Drive through Immunization” drive on Thursday March 4th and Friday March 5th of March from 0830AM- 4:30PM. The shot clinic is targeted for 6th graders going into 7th grade next school year.

    The parent will need to call for an appointment time (they do not want a traffic jam) but the convivence will be the child can remain in the car while they get their immunization(s).
