Peer Assisted Learning (PALS)
This project pairs students with a PAL team member from Steele and Clemens High Schools. PALs are high school students who are chosen and trained to be peer leaders.
The PAL’s primary goal at Jordan is to serve as a positive role model for younger students and to help them make their education a positive experience. The older students provide the younger students with a positive way to handle difficult choices facing young people. As a role model they are able to help provide tutoring and one to one instruction for your child in their classroom. The PALs will meet with their student once a week. They will meet in their classroom and will assist with any work, help motivate, and teach study skills.
