Welcome Eagle families, I am so excited to get to know all of you!!!
My name is Ashley Rodgers and I am your child's school counselor. As the school counselor, my goal is to help our students grow socially, emotionally, and academically. Throughout the school year, I will be providing lessons via whole class learning, small groups, and individual counseling to teach varying skills to our students.
I was born and raised in Arizona, but got to Texas as soon as I could and attended college here at the University of Houston Clear Lake for my undergraduate degree and then Texas A&M for my masters degree. I was a 5th and 6th grade Science and Social Studies teacher for 6 years (3 of which were at Jordan), took one year off to be a stay at home mom, and am now back at Jordan doing my dream job. When I am not at work, I love to spend quality family time with my husband, our one year old daughter, and our two labs.
If I can be of any assistance to you and your child throughout the school year, please let me know. I can be reached at arodgers@scuc.txed.net or you can call me at 210-619-4257
Please take a moment to go through the pages of my website to find resources as well as to learn about the different groups I will be providing throughout the year.
I am looking forward to getting to know all of our Eagles!
