Official Attendance is taken at 9:35 AM

**Remember to send in an excuse note every time your child is absent. A written note or e-mail from the parent/legal guardian is required to excuse the absence -- calling in a student’s absence does not excuse the absence.

**If the student spends part of the day in school and he/she is out for a medical/dental appointment, a note from the medical care provider is required to excuse the absence.

**Attendance notes must include the student’s first and last name, ID number, grade and teacher’s name. The reason and date(s) of absence as well as the signature and contact information for the parent/legal guardian must also be included.

**Attendance notes can be delivered to the front desk, sent to the teacher, faxed to 210-619-4590, or you may submit a digital form by clicking here - Absence Note.

**The tardy bell rings at 8:10 a.m. Students will be counted tardy if they are not in their seats/with their teacher by 8:10 a.m.

**Excessive tardies and absences could result in administrative action.
