CIPA Compliance
The Internet is a network of many types of communication and information networks. Each SCUCISD computer with Internet access has a filtering device or software that blocks access to visual depictions that are obscene, pornographic, inappropriate for students, or harmful to minors, as defined by the federal Children's Internet Protection Act. However, it may not be possible to prevent access in some cases. It is the users' responsibility to follow rules the acceptable use policy for appropriate use.Parent ResourcesThe following presentations and links are intended for parents and students to help you remain safe online. Knowing what you can do to protect yourself and your information can make the difference between having an enjoyable online experience and constantly worrying about who has access to your information.
Special thanks to Kerrville ISD for sharing their Safety NET resources with us.
