Classroom Rules and Expectations
We expect our third graders to come ready to learn, participate in class, and have fun! We also expect students to be respectful and not give up when the learning is challenging.
Students can expect me to come ready to teach, make learning exciting, and grow kids' brains. I promise to be respectful, compassionate, and very, very PASSIONATE!
Our class follows 5 rules from PowerTeaching.
RULE NUMBER ONE: Follow directions quickly.
RULE NUMBER TWO: Raise your hand for permission to speak.
RULE NUMBER THREE: Raise your hand for permission to leave your seat.
RULE NUMBER FOUR: Make smart choices.
RULE NUMBER FIVE: Make your dear teacher happy.
The students have been doing a GREAT job on all the rules, especially number FIVE!!!!
In addition to rules, we will also be using Class Dojo to keep kids and parents informed about behavior. Mrs. Baskin and I are looking forward to celebrating lots of points earned. Dojo allows us to message you about upcoming events, chat with you, and share pictures about some exciting learning projects in real time.
