Innovation in Education Scholarship
Award Amount: $500
On an ongoing monthly basis, this scholarship is open to all currently enrolled high school and college students who showcase their creativity while helping those around them (whether that be in a creative fundraiser, inventive new app, series of blog posts on a particular theme, or another idea). The application deadline is 11:59 pm PST on the 20th of each month.
Eligibility:
- Must be currently enrolled in high school or college
- Cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 (or the equivalent)
- Must be a citizen of, permanent resident of, or hold a valid student visa in the United States or Canada
Award Amount: $2,500
Eligibility: High school seniors, college students, graduate students; cumulative GPA of at least 3.0/4.0; U.S. citizen or resident
Deadline: September 30, December 31, March 31, and June 30

Knoll Diversity Advancement Design Scholarships for Black Students
- Be a high school senior in the United States or Canada and identify as Black
- Be pursuing a design-related degree; majors include but are not limited to:
- Architecture
- Architectural Design/Technology
- Graphic Design
- Industrical Design
- Industrial Engineering
- Industrial Production
- Interior Design
- Plan to enroll in fulltime undergraduate study at an accredited two-year, four-year college or university or CEGEP institution for the entire upcoming academic year

Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarship
- Be a graduating high school senior;
- Plan to attend an accredited and approved four-year institution within the United States;
- Show leadership potential;
- Demonstrate a dedication to community service;
- Present evidence of financial need;
- Be a United States citizen;
- Have a minimum SAT score of 1,000 combined on the math and critical reading sections or a composite ACT score of 21;
- Not possess a degree from a 2 or 4–year College when applying for the scholarship.
Deadline: Due February 1, 2021
GVEC Scholarship (This is for a university, community college, and trade school)
- Applicant’s parent(s) or legal guardian(s) must have an active GVEC electric account in their name.
- Applicant must be a 2020-21 high school graduate and be able to meet all admission requirements of the college, university or trade school selected.
- Applicant must agree to attend classes as prescribed by the school’s curriculum for the semester in which tuition is paid.
- In all cases, the Cooperative will have the final decision on eligibility of each applicant, and, if for any reason an applicant is found to be ineligible by the Scholarship Selection Committee, the scholarship shall not be awarded.
- Children of the GVEC Board of Directors and employees are not eligible for this scholarship.

San Antonio Lighthouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired
- For full or part-time students who are visually impaired and attending an accredited university or vocational school with a
- GPA of 2.5 or higher
- Minimum 3.3 GPA
- Number of Community Service Hours completed in the last 12 months
- Community Service Verification Letters to document the number of hours submitted
- A Letter of Recommendation
- A Short Essay (500 words or less) on the topic: “What does Community mean to you?”

participate in the scholarship program.
