The Battle of the Books is a reading program that takes place from January to May. Students in third and fourth grade are invited to read as many books as they can on the Battle of the Books Reading List. Books are available for participants to check out from Wiederstein Elementary. However, books may also be found at the Schertz Public Library. 

During the end of May, we will hold our Battle of the Books! Students will answer questions about the books from the list. The student that answers the most questions correctly will be the Battle of the Books Champions! There will also be a second and third place winner.
