    BUSINESS INFORMATION MANAGEMENT 1 (1733) Have you dreamed of becoming an entrepreneur or a tycoon in the business industry? Business Information Management I prepares students to apply technology skills to personal/workplace business situations focused on word processing, spreadsheet, database, desktop publishing, presentation management, power-point, and emerging technologies. Students complete the course with an intermediate skill level in word processing, PowerPoint presentations, spreadsheet, and database applications. Students will have the opportunity to take the Microsoft Certified Application Specialist Exam, MCAS, in Microsoft Word. Prerequisite: None Credit: 1 unit

    BUSINESS INFORMATION MANAGEMENT 2 (1734) Develops advanced technology skills and have the opportunity to take the Microsoft Certified Application Specialist (MCAS) Certification Exam for Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. MCAS certification will enhance student’s employability in the business world. Students will take the MCAS exam in Micosoft Word in Business Information Management I. Prerequisite: Business Information Management I or BCIS I Credit: 1 unit
