Please do not send an email informing me of a change.  I may not be able to check my email or I may be off campus.

     Attendance

If your child is absent, please contact the school office by 9:30 a.m.  If your child will be out for several days, please also contact our attendance clerk, Mrs. Hufford, at 210-619-4600.

It is important to promptly send a written note (with-in 3 days of an absence) that includes your child’s first and last name, teacher’s name, date of absence(s) and reason for absence once your child returns to school.

    Lunch Times

We will eat lunch from 11:25-12:10. Parents are always welcome to come and eat lunch with their child (except for state mandated testing days or during closed campus days).  If you plan on having lunch with your child, please check in with the receptionist.  You and your child can sit at one of the designated parent tables.  Due to food allergies and other concerns, please DO NOT invite any classmates to join you and your child for lunch.  In addition, please do not bring in any outside food for other children.

    Class Birthdays

Students will be allowed to bring in treats to celebrate their birthday. If you would like to provide a treat for your child’s birthday, please write me a note or let me know in advance so that I can plan our day accordingly.  Treats will be shared after lunch or at the end of the day. Treats must be store bought, sealed and should not contain any peanut products (due to allergies). Some great idea are Cookies, doughnuts, cupcakes, etc.

Please help your child remember their lunch number or student ID number. Students use this number for lunch and when using school computers/software.
