The 2019 Watts Color Run and Fall Festival is Almost Here!!
On October 26, 2019 Watts will be holding our annual Watts Elementary Color Run and Fall Festival and we want YOU to join in the fun! Each year our PTC and Staff do an amazing job creating a fun and family friendly fundraiser for our school with the goal of raising as much money as we can to benefit each and every student, teacher, and staff member at Watts for the 2019-2020 school year. In the past you have helped us raise enough funds to send ALL students on field trips, purchase new playground equipment for our ALE students, and provide new technology for our teachers and staff to help with student assessments and evaluations…just to name a few. 100 % of the proceeds from the Color Run and Fall Festival will go directly to Watts. Participation for this fundraiser is not required but you WILL NOT want to miss out on the FUN!
Our Color Run is an untimed fun run which will begin and end on the blacktop on the Watts campus the morning of October 26th. It is open to all Watts students, their families, and the community. Participants can choose from two routes (3.3 mile and 1.5 mile) which will be marked through the neighborhoods surrounding the Watts campus. There will be several “color stations” along each route where you will be showered with a color spray by our volunteers who will also be cheering you on as you go. Once you cross the finish line you will be given your powdered color packets for an all-out war of colors!!

**Note – The Color Run is open to all students and their families. However, for safety purposed, students in our Pre-K, Kindergarten, and 1st grades must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or older sibling to be able to participate. **
Not a runner?! That’s okay! After the Color Run, the Fall Festival will begin at 9:00 am on the Watts campus. Participants can enjoy Fall Themed activity booths, food, prize drawings, and silent auction. Activity booths will include Grab an Apple, Scarecrow Pictures, Fall Fishing, Pumpkin Bowling, Tattoos, Hair Chalk, and Nail Polish, Twister, Golf Ball Water Squirt, Pumpkin Pail Toss, Pumpkin Ring Toss, and Find the Pumpkin in the Haystack. There will be pickles, popcorn, and other yummy treats to enjoy while you walk around and enjoy all the many activities for all ages.
While you are at the Fall Festival, be sure to visit the Prize Drawings and Silent Auction room for a chance to bid on and win some of our fabulous Silent Auction items. Donations have been made towards the silent auction and prize drawings from both local and national business who were happy to support our school. A few businesses who have contributed so far are Kendra Scott, Schlitterbahn, American Girl Doll, Santikos, San Antonio Zoo, and Sea World and the donations keep coming in!
