The letter grades E, S, N, U are given in two areas: "Demonstrates concepts and skills" and "Participates in activities." A student that displays appropriate behavior, participates in classroom lessons and activities, and needs few redirections will receive an S. Students that display the musical skills independently will receive an E in that category. Students who demonstrate excellent behavior, attitude, and participation will receive an E in that category. If a child needs frequent redirecting for behavior, a grade of N or U will be given. Please email me at wstanley@scuc.txed.net if you have a question about your student's grade in Music.
