Welcome to Mr. Wagner's
7th Grade & IPC Science Class
Website
Plese double-check your schedule in TxConnect. There have been schedule changes recently that may have you with a different teacher and/or class period.
This is the start of my 16th year in teaching. For the past 14 years I have taught at Corbett. The first 8 years I taught 7th math, 8th math, and Algebra. For the past 6 years I have been teaching 7th grade Science. I am looking forward to working together to navigate through this opportunity to create a new way of learning as we respond to the on-going events in our country.
I have been married to my wife for 19 years-she teaches at Jordan Intermediate and will be starting her 17th year of teaching. We have two boys: Tyler (25) and Trent (13).

Supplies
SCUC @ Home
Investigations will still happen at home. I know you will most likely not have the supplies for a lab at home. I take this into consideration when choosing a lab. I will try to find labs that can use household items, but if I cannot, a digital simulation, or data will be provided so that the goal can be accomplished. If you will need to buy supplies, I will provide 1-2 weeks notice to get what is needed. For example, baking soda, food coloring, etc.
If other classes have the same supplies, you do not need to duplicate the amount.
- Composition Notebook (hardcover, 200 pages)
- Pens and Pencils
- Colored Pencils
- Highlighters
- Recommended - corded headphones/earbuds to reduce distractions (cordless options are not compatible with district technology)
Supplies for labs (hopefully you already have these somewhere in the house or garage):
- Ruler or measuring tape
- Scale (if you do not have one, I will provide mass amounts for the lab that can be used)
- Timer (use your phone)
