Department Guiding Values

Purchasing department earns prestigious Award of Merit. SCUC ISD is proud to be recognized by The Texas Association of School Business Officials (TASBO) with a 2024 Award of Merit for Purchasing Operations. The Award of Merit was established in 2009 to recognize Texas school districts, open-enrollment charter schools, and education services centers that are committed to following professional standards in the acquisition of goods and services. For 2024, only 77 recipients met the stringent criteria to qualify for the award. With 1,200 School Districts in the State of Texas, this is truly a distinguished achievement.
